....Lady Gaga, I'm not Creative, and the Magic of Puffs Vicks Tissues....

FIRST OF ALL, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS BITCH?
I don't really like HER. I don't even know why anyone likes her....I guess just looking at her I get the massive gay following. Of course Divas have a massive gay following. It's the life blood of the Divadom. I don't know what it is, maybe it's the RAH RAH ROMA MA....but "Bad Romance" has been dancing around in head for way too long. "Paparazzi" sort of started growing on me after that CRAZY ass performance on that Kanye-Crazy VMA show. If you didn't see it, and honestly what Lady Gaga fan didn't, here it is:

I was a concerned for her sanity.

I actually like the real video for that song. It's very good! I just can't be her fan. If she couldn't sing my love/hate relationship could be just hate. LOL

I haven't been able to really paint lately. I've been trying in vain to crochet....I've gotten what I need to get done. I just need MOTIVATION!! I need to be able to breathe!! I am the QUEEN!! SOMEONE HAND ME MY NEEDLE!! Or....just get out of the way so I can set up my paints.

Oh....a note about Puffs, Vicks infused Tissues....OH MY GOD THEY ARE FROM MAJICK!!!

The child in the picture is showing you how I felt when I put that tissue to my nose.

So if you're like me right now and you can't fucking breathe, go get you some. People might stare at you for sniffing tissues, but at least you can SMELL!!!

....Moni, The Scourge of Carpathia, The Toaster of Giant Marshmallow Men....

I'M IN A GHOSTBUSTING MOOD PEOPLES!!
"Ghostbusters II" is my most favourite of both movies, but I love them both equally. The rumours about the a third movie have me wondering if it's even a good idea to make that movie in this day and age. I've seen some pretty GREVIOUS offences of classic movies in my time....and that would for sure make me cry my little EctoGoggled eyes out.

The comic books have sort of quelled my thirst for NEW Ghostbusting fare, but I don't know, even if you bring back The Ramis, The Murray, The Akroyd, the very underestimated Hudson....it might just seem sad. I DON'T KNOW! You can't call me 'not dedicated" that's FOR SURE!
I suppose you could maybe do something with four new Ghostbusters, but with Judd Apatow producing....I'd have to kick his ass. NO SETH ROGANS And MICHAEL FUCKING CERAS!!!! Ever. Not in my Ghostbuster World. The last thing I need is a fart joke and a stumbling, bumbling doofus who won't just SHOOT the damn spector!!!
Anywayz....just don't fuck up my movie, Apatow.

....I Wear A Lot Of Eyeshadow, I love Scotts and Aussies, and a Gratuitous Chris Isaak Picture....

FOR A LOT OF MY LIFE, ever since I was allowed to put on make up,I've been wearing every colour, in every way, and I know not the word moderation. I don't wear make up often, but when I do start putting on my foundation I know it's gonna take me a while to put my face on.
A lot of girls have their routine, my mom has had the same make up routine for my entire life. I a have a routine: put on foundation, choose my eye shadow colours (never just one), line the bottom of my eyes with pencil liner, start my eyeshadow....that's where it starts getting complicated. It's got to be thick, it's got to be bright. Pink and black is my favourite, all kinds of blue and greens are welcome, and somewhere in there I end up putting on my liquid liner (cats eye baby) mascara, and blush.
I know what you're wondering...."what DOES this clown face look like!" well....it's not bad:

I happen to be wearing brown shadow in this picture, this is my best impression of Stevie Nicks' make up.
Today I got so much blue eyeshadow on my cheeks I had to wipe off the foundation on my cheeks and start over.

On to the Aussie/Scotts part: I LOVE THEM. I want to go to both these places so bad I can't even believe it!! I found out today that one of my Steviehomies I have been talking to for a long time is FROM Glasgow. I was amazed! I have CI homie from the same place! I gotta get to Glasgow, even if it's not what I think it might be!!!
A ton of my CI friends are from Australia, and I take this as a sign. I always seem to make Aussie friends, I think I need to go there. Maybe the man I supposed to marry lives there! That would be great!

And before I go:

He's so hot. LOL

....Ghostbusters: Displaced Aggression....

THIS IS THE LATEST ISSUE OF "GHOSTBUSTERS: DISPLACED AGGRESSION".

I've been a huge Ghostbusters fan since I was about three-years-old. I was born three years after the first movie, and didn't get to see the second until I was about seven-years-old. This made the second movie, my favourite.
I don't usually read comic books. It's not my thing; I usually leaf through my Sisser's comics and they end up making not one lick of sense. Mostly because all I'm really doing is just looking the art over.
My criteria for good comic book art?:

*How are the women drawn? Are they just complete sex objects?

*How worth it is the story to read? Does the art overpower it?

I obviously don't have much to work with, so you can see where the interest wains in my world.

"Displaced Aggression" is the best string of comics I've seen, and the best I've read. I like the idea of all four Ghostbusters being separated and flung into different parts of the timeline. Peter is a cowboy in the Old West, Ray is a knight in Mideval England, Egon is the overlord of a futuristic world, and Winston is back in an apocalyptic New York defending it while a female Ghostbuster (with one interesting family), Rachel Unglighter, gets in her time machine on a mission to find Peter, Ray, and Egon.

It's bloody FANTASTIC. I adore it so much!! It might be that I'm fanatical Ghosthead, but whatever the reason they are pretty fantastic. I don't want to give anything away, so get off your ass and GO READ THEM!!!

....Phlematic, Sherlock Holmes, and Bruce Springsteen's Hands....

So this is what Facebook says about me:
Phlegmatic

You are peaceful. You love to take it slow. You are quiet but you aren't shy. You have a sever wit and a strange, subtle humour that catches people off guard. You are sympathetic but you don't get wrapped up in other people's problems. You are patient and although you have deep emotions you keep them to yourself. You are consistent. You like history and connect to the past. Things that are tried and proven appeal to you. You meditate on your problems and don't jump to conclusions. You like to find the easy way of dealing with things. You avoid conflict and mediate when others are conflicting, defusing the situation with logic or humour. You don't like drama and chaos, but you are good under pressure and rarely freak out. You are very easy to get along with. You have a lot of acquaintances but not a lot of close friends. You don't confide in many people but get along with everyone. There are very few people you don't like, if any at all. You are either a good listener or you can sit and pretend to listen while you let your mind wander into nothingness - depends on your mood. No one can tell though which you are doing. You like watching people, observing their habits and actions. You might even mimic them, if the situation calls for it, but you are inoffensive. Calm, cool, and collected I think is the phrase. Introvert: The Watcher.

I guess that's true. My Sisser would say it was partially true. Maybe....I have no idea....it's a freaking Facebook test.

Sherlock Holmes was a badass movie, and Robert Downey Jr. was very good in it. Even though he made me late for work. See they were filming part of his next movie, "Due Date" here in Las Cruces. Mostly, my little Sisser Amanda saw him when she was driving home, so the dude WAS here. To me it wasn't much of a shock, since....I sound douchey saying this....I got to be in "Year One". Got cut out....course I left a day early....anyways.

A light from the filming of "Due Date".

But go see it....it's great.
I'm starting a painting for my online BFF Melissa....who's blog I follow...."Owner of a Hungry Heart".
Bruce Springsteen's hands are tricky, and his guitar, his old busted, faithful best friend of a guitar, is HARD TO PAINT! It's a funky colour and a funky shape.
But I'll do it!!!

That's all for now.

....YESTERDAY was Elvis' Birthday....

and I forgot!
But no matter, I mean the man would have been 75 years old.
Elvis is probably the best cure I can think of for the blues. I mean I can listen to anyone I love and feel better, but Elvis Presley straight up gets rid of those old bad feelings.
My friend Meg and I wondered if he would have still been doing his thang....I think so.

It's like Jerry Lee Lewis...

That man is ancient, can barely move, yet he's still "The Killer" that everyone loves. Wasn't bad lookin' back in the day either:

I adore him. I have since I watched Dennis Quaid play him in "Great Balls of Fire". Of course I had a huge crush on Dennis when I was a little girl thanks to both that movie and "Innerspace". Not the best movie, but....it was my favourite. I was a WEIRD kid I know.
I loved watching Chris Isaak sing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" with Jerry Lee. Makes me wanna name my son Jerry Lee. Or my daughter....lol
These two men might be why I love Chris Isaak so much. I have no idea....

I mean, I don't really see why....lol

In all seriousness (if I can stand to get there), it makes me realize just how long I've been a rockabilly girl at heart. I mean if you look back at me as a kid, I LOVED to watch movies about musicians from the 50's. I love boys with pompadours and guitars. I always have. I hope that I can find me that boy that dresses like Elvis and laughs at Monty Python. It would make my life complete.

....My New Tattoo, Houtkamp,and Idiots....

So I found out who painted the awesome tattooed lady in my banner:

Miss Angelique Houtkamp, tattoo artist! I LOVE traditional tattoo art. If I could I'd go back and remove a few tattoos on my arms just to have whole traditonal sleeves.

Photobucket
"Saphira" by Angelique Houtkamp

I love this but I don't think I'd get it tattooed until I emailed her.

My new tattoo is getting awesomer as the sessions go on:

"Intoxica" by Mummyslilmonster
Daniel Dagones, my tattooing genius friend! I love you!

AND THE IDIOTS PART:

Don't know who doesn't like me in the Chris Isaak community, but it's retarded. I guess no more CI board.

Also my mother got back together with her boyfriend, and if he talks to me the way he's been talking to me since he got in this house, I'm gonna fucking kick his stupid ass.

Love you all~
